I’m so excited to tell ya’ll about this hair recipe!! I thought it up all by my lil ol’ self… anywho.. well, not really but I did “think” of the ingredients and googled to make sure that the ingredients I had on hand wouldn’t damage my hair.
This is so simple and very easy to rinse out.
Here is the recipe:
1 – 6oz container of greek yogurt plain (the label said it had double the protein of other yogurts)
2 tablespoons cocoa powder (pure organic)
2 tablespoons almond oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons honey
2-3 drops of peppermint oil
Combine everything into a bowl and stir until it reaches the consistency of cake frosting. Section your hair and apply the mask from root to tip. Put any plastic covering on your hair and allow to sit for 30 minutes. Rinse. Shampoo. Condition. Style as usual. It’s super easy.
My Experience with the Peppermint Patty Mask: … This mask smelled so good. It was a treat putting it in on my hair..I parted my hair into about 8 sections and applied the mask from tips to root.. the ends of my hair were thirsty! I covered my hair with a plastic target bag and kept it on for about 35-45 minutes. I rinsed it out in the shower and continued with my normal shampoo and conditioning process.
OMG, my hair was so soft and shiny and I can’t tell you how good my bathroom smelled!! The aroma of the peppermint and chocolate combined was so decadent. I’m adding this simple process to my regimen at least 2x a month. It’s such a treat.
