Oprah Giving her last lesson as a "teacher" on the Oprah Winfrey Show

So, this week, the world was all a buzz about the final Oprah Show. I laughed, danced, and cried at the farewell performances. I was doing the ugly cry when Aretha Franklin sang ‘Amazing Grace’ . That was by far my most favorite moment of the celebs.

Oprah’s last show was more like a lesson to me, life lessons. I have now watched that episode 5 times.  She spoke about taking responsibility for our lives, our energy, aha moments, whispers of God, and so much more. If you’ve not seen it, find someone who has it on TiVo or DVR, grab a pen and paper to take notes, and watch it like your life depends on it. I’m not being dramatic, it really is THAT good.

Another fab woman I admire made news too, it was released that Bethenny Frankel, former Real Housewife Of New York, was on the cover of Forbes Magazine.  Bethenny is known for her skinny girl margaritas and having an AMAZING brand. (herself)

I’ve watched her journey from the beginning when she was dreaming of being married, having a great business and being a mom. This woman went through it!! I mean, her , then,  boyfriend rejected her, a relationship with her best friend ended, she had very few people show up at events she was holding.

I often felt sorry for her but deep down knew she’d make it.  She kept at it. Recently, she sold part of her business for a reported $100 Million dollars. That’s not including her endorsements.

I’m so proud of Bethenny, as if she was a very good friend. She is such a source of inspiration for me. Congratulations, Bethenny!!

Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation’s service. Thank you to all who died protecting our freedom. You are gone but not forgotten.
